We selected the name GEM as a Unique word to describe the Youth who have lost a a Parent. 
Similar to the process that a Gem goes through to become a Precious Stone, losing a Parent is a tremendous loss however the Child remains as a Precious Stone with a Story to Share and a Light that Shines from within!
